Hello, art police? I would like to report a crime. I’m absolutely captivated by this massive oceanic structure and can’t seem to take my eyes off it. It’s just too amazing!
The city rising from the sea might appear somewhat unusual, but let me tell you upfront that it’s not the only astonishing aspect of this structure. Take a closer look, and you’ll notice that the assembly known as “Ihou Kenchiku” combines various styles, ranging from Japanese pagodas and German towers to blocky American skyscrapers. In Russian, its name translates to “Illegal Architecture.” This is because creating something like this in the real world is impossible due to the laws of physics. Fortunately, Minecraft isn’t bound by our dull regulations.
The individuals organizing the assembly aimed to foster creativity without imposing restrictions, which is why they refrained from creating a detailed plan, as noted by Dambo-Ru. “Everyone built in their own way.” Part of the process was streamed live, allowing the management team to identify gaps within the structure. However, there was also a natural method for filling these voids: “Some experienced builders combined individual elements simply by blending various styles.” This is why, no matter how hard you try, it’s challenging to find an empty space within the structure. Even the areas between buildings are adorned with colorful garlands and flags. There are one or two waterfalls, and balloons and airships float around the edges.
Where should one begin their journey? A daytime stroll along the peaks of the tallest towers will unveil breathtaking views from a bird’s-eye perspective. As night falls, the city lights up with thousands of lanterns, inviting you to wander through its charming streets. If you’re brimming with energy, climbing to the rooftops and descending towards the sea can serve as an excellent workout. Just be cautious with your movements; a fall from such heights could lead to serious injury.
“We organize events like this for individuals who enjoy building in Minecraft Bedrock, providing them with opportunities to connect and make new friends. It’s wonderful to witness how strangers come together to create amazing builds.”
