World Edit Terra Mod is one of the most impressive mods for terraforming in Minecraft Pocket Edition. This mod introduces a variety of tools and dozens of text commands that can be utilized to create stunning landscapes within the Minecraft PE world. If you’re looking for a quick and easy way to build large natural areas or replicate certain architectures and terrains, the World Edit Terra mod is here to assist you, and much more!
Sphere:
The sphere feature includes text commands for terraforming. Let’s explore how to create some amazing landscapes.
Hold the item you wish to use as the sphere tool, then enter the following text command: /sphere tool. Set the radius and block ID: /sphere <radius> <block ID>. (Example: /sphere 3 12)
In about a minute, we managed to create this massive sand mountain.
Painting:
The painting feature is another aspect of terraforming on a larger and more efficient scale. It allows you to replace one type of block with another. Let’s see how this works.
Hold the tool you want to use for painting, then type the text command in chat: /paint tool.
Next, you need to select the type of block for painting: /paint <block ID>%<percentage>. (Example: /paint 12%100)
Click on any block to start painting. It will take you just a few seconds to cover the ground with sand blocks. It’s truly amazing how quickly you can do this using this mod.
Here are a few other options you can adjust for the painting tool:
- /paint limit – limits the painting tool to a certain number of blocks below the surface.
- /paint size <radius> – changes the radius size of the painting tool.
- /mask <block ID> – only repaints the specified block ID, ignoring all others.
Brush: Melt, Lift, Smooth.
The next feature is extremely useful. It allows you to shape your terrains into more natural forms.
First, specify the block type you want to use: /b block <block ID>
In our example, we decided to build a mountain using stone blocks (block ID: 1).
Melt:
Type the following command in chat: /b melt to activate “melt.” Use the arrow to add blocks and gunpowder to remove blocks.
Now we have a solid platform for the mountain. Let’s increase the height of the mountain.
Lift:
Type the following command in chat: /b lift to activate “lift.” Use the arrow to raise blocks in front of you, and gunpowder to lower blocks.
This is a high lift that doesn’t have a very natural shape. Let’s use the smooth function to correct this.
Smoothing:
Type the following command in chat: /b smooth to activate smoothing. Use gunpowder to smooth the terrain for a more natural shape.
After a short time working with the smoothing function, you will see that the mountain looks much more natural, rather than rough and sharp.
Selection Tool:
The default selection tool is a wooden axe. The selection tool can be used to select a structure for copying or pasting.
Select the lower corner of the structure – hold your finger on block 1-2 seconds. To select the second position, move to the opposite side of the structure and place the second position at the upper corner of the structure.
Copying:
Now that we have selected the structure, it’s time to copy it. Type /copy in chat to perform this action.
Pasting:
The selected structure is now in the clipboard. Next, find a location in the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition where you would like to see the copied structure.
In our case, we chose a spot near some trees.
- /paste – pastes the entire structure.
- /paste – a – pastes the structure without air blocks.
- /paste a – pastes the structure with air blocks.
Changing Selected Blocks:
Selected blocks can be replaced with other types of blocks. In our example, we selected a small area of dirt. If you enter the command /set 41 – the dirt blocks will be transformed into gold blocks.
- /set <block ID>
Information Block:
If you want to find out the block IDs, or the ID of a specific block, use the following commands.
- /id – shows the ID of the block you are holding. To disable this function, enter the command again.
- /idblock – displays the ID of the block you are pointing at; to do this, touch the block (do not destroy it) to see the ID. To disable this function, enter the command again.
Undo & Redo:
To undo and redo actions, use the following commands.
- /undo – used to cancel the last action.
- /redo – used when you want to revert an undone action for modification.
Super Pickaxe:
The super pickaxe is not linked to any tool. You can toggle the pickaxe on and off using two commands:
- /superpickaxe
- //
When this feature is enabled, you can break blocks very quickly.
Other Features / Commands:
- /overlay tool
- /overlay size <radius>
- /overlay <bottom block ID> <block ID>%<percentage>
- /platform
- /replace <previous block ID> <next block ID>
Here are a few examples of terrains we created using this mod.
