The mod “Update Aquatic” was developed to showcase some of the new mobs included in the aquatic update for Minecraft PE. Among the new creatures are dolphins and various fish species. If you haven’t had the chance to learn more about the upcoming update, be sure to check out this video. The mobs in this mod are merely conceptual.
How does it work?
Four mobs from the MCPE world have been transformed into some of the creatures expected to be added in the aquatic update.
Dolphin (replaces creeper): The dolphin is one of the new mobs that will be introduced in the upcoming aquatic update for Minecraft Pocket Edition.
Night Sky Monster (replaces chicken): This mob received the highest number of votes from the Minecraft community and is likely to be included in the new aquatic update coming to the MCPE world this spring.
Fish and Tropical Fish (replaces drowned and winter fish): As the ocean biome (and aquatic environment in general) will undergo a complete overhaul, there are some exciting changes for fish. For instance, any fish you catch will be transformed into the objective creatures of the Minecraft Pocket Edition world.

Installing Update Aquatic (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Addons. - Select the imported resource packs/addons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
