The mod “Triceratops” introduces one of the most formidable dinosaurs, the triceratops, into Minecraft. Fans of bony artifacts, triple horns, and the late Cretaceous period will surely appreciate this addition!
Triceratops are tamable creatures that come in various colors and sizes. Did I mention that they can be tamed? And that they are monsters? Hmm, it seems like a bit of an oxymoron.
In Minecraft, Triceratops can be found in savannas and occasionally in plains. They are active only during the daytime. You can tame them using apples. Once tamed, lay down a carpet on your dinosaur and confidently charge at zombies! Although, I’m about 90% sure that zombies didn’t exist during the late Cretaceous period.
Generally, larger specimens are slower but possess more health. Smaller ones are quicker, yet have less health and take less damage from falls. You cannot tame the young ones; just let them grow while you ride the adult dinosaurs.

- Download the mod labeled as “.mcpack” from below.
- Open the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into Minecraft.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- For your world, apply the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-on Packs. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It is advisable to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world Minecraft, and enjoy the add-on!
