Toy Soldier

Are you and your friend unsure about what to do and looking for another great addition for Minecraft PE on our site? We have discovered an amazing mod called “Toy Soldier” for Minecraft Pocket Edition, which allows you to create two opposing armies of tiny soldiers and assign them various classes for battle. This transforms the game into a true strategy experience within MCPE, as you can command soldiers to act differently based on their class. This is particularly exciting in multiplayer, but you can also enjoy it solo without any issues.

How Does It Work?

Toy Soldiers are small bipedal creatures that replace various mobs in the Minecraft Pocket Edition world. The soldiers are divided into several teams (red and green), and as you might guess, they are hostile towards each other. Players have nothing to fear, as the soldiers will only attack one another. Before the battles begin, you should contain the teams with a wall to prevent them from attacking prematurely. Additionally, specific class types can be attracted and led using certain items:

• Red (replacing cows) are attracted with apples
• Green (replacing pigs) are attracted with emeralds
• Yellow (replacing creepers) are attracted with gold ingots
• Blue (replacing mooshrooms) are attracted with diamonds

Classes

You can change a soldier’s class in the MCPE world by giving them either sugar or an arrow. Class descriptions include:

• Normal
  • Health: 10 hearts
  • Standard speed
  • Damage: 1.5 points
• Assassin (give the soldier sugar)
  • Health: 7.5 hearts
  • High speed
  • Damage: 1 point
• Spearman (give the soldier an arrow)
  • Health: 5 hearts
  • Attacks with arrows
  • Low speed
• Wizard (give the soldier a blaze rod)
  • Attacks with fire projectiles
• Healer (give the soldier a bone)
  • Shoots regeneration arrows to allies
  • Runs away from enemies, cannot attack

Battles

Once your troops are ready, you can break the wall and enjoy the spectacle of team battles. The soldiers will fight until only one team remains alive! This map for Minecraft PE is best suited for a small group of friends, as with more than 5 players, you simply won’t have enough soldiers for a full battle.

Toy Horses

The sheep in Minecraft Pocket Edition have been replaced with toy horses that toy soldiers can ride. A soldier will only mount a horse if an enemy is nearby, giving them a significant advantage as the horse provides extra speed. These mobs can be attracted using regular wheat.

Changes

• All are attracted only by gold ingots
• Items drop upon the death of toys
• New characters: toy Pegasus (flies), toy Spider (can climb walls and jump)

Installing Toy Soldier (.mcpack)

• Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
• Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
• Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to world settings.
• Set the imported:
  — Resource Packs.
  — Addons.
• Select the imported resource packs/addons in each section.
• It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!

Installing Toy Soldier (.zip)

• Download the mod below.
• Extract the two folders from the archive.
• Move the “toysoldier-bp” folder to /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/
• Move the “toysoldier-rp” folder to /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
• Create a new world or edit an existing one.
• Set the selected world with the resource pack and addon that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
• Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!
