The TorchPlaceMod transforms your Minecraft Pocket Edition (MCPE) experience by enabling players to seamlessly place torches from their inventory. By simply right-clicking with a tool or weapon in your primary hand, you can instantly place a torch, provided you have torches available in your inventory and that the block you aim at isn’t interactive. This feature proves invaluable during extensive mining expeditions, eliminating the hassle of needing to switch items in your off-hand and allowing you to keep your shield ready for action.
Moving forward, this mod will exclusively support Neoforge, featuring a complete overhaul that streamlines its underlying code. It has been designed to automatically prevent torch placement on blocks that have a graphical user interface (GUI), including chests and crafting tables. Leveraging tags to identify items, the mod now recognizes tools and weapons efficiently, and you can introduce custom tag sets in the configuration file for mods that don’t align with the standard tagging system.
The TorchPlaceMod primarily recognizes standard vanilla torches and will not support modded variants at this time.
