An intriguing addition for many is the mod titled The Vampires, which introduces several new mobs and items into the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition. The mobs consist of three new vampires that pose a significant threat in MCPE. Each vampire is hostile towards any friendly creatures they encounter. However, they do have a notable weakness: sunlight. Therefore, it is advisable to avoid nighttime in Minecraft PE and venture out during the day.

How Does It Work?

Here’s a list of the new mobs and their abilities.
Mobs:

Initial Vampire (Zombie): Enhanced health, damage, and speed.
Vampire (Cadaver): Increased health, damage, and speed.
Villager Vampire (Zombie Villager): Shares the same stats as the initial vampire. Use a Weakness Potion and a Healing Star (Nether Star) to cure it in MCPE.

All vampires are hostile towards players and friendly mobs. They are incredibly fast, making it quite challenging to escape from them in Minecraft Pocket Edition.

Here’s a list of replaced items and their uses.

Healing Star (Nether Star): Used to heal villager vampires. Obtained by defeating the Forbidden Boss (replaces the Wither).
Vampire Cloak (replaces Elytra): Drops from vampires.

Storyline

Rumors suggest that dark and mysterious events are occurring deep within the forest. Some individuals from the Shugarhukado tribe perform rituals for a powerful and legendary creature with red eyes and two large fangs. “Vampire sha-la-lam!”

Installing The Vampires (.mcpack)

Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to world settings.
Set the imported options for the world:
— Resource Packs.
— Addons.
Select the imported resource/addon packs in each section.
It is recommended to restart the game client Minecraft PE afterward.
Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!

Installing The Vampires (.zip)

Download the mod below.
Extract the two folders from the archive.
Move the folder “VampireBP” to the folder /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/
Move the folder “VampireRP” to the folder /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/
Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
Create a new world or edit an existing one.
Set the selected world with the resource pack and addon that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!
