Are you a seasoned player or simply seeking new challenges in the world of Minecraft PE? If so, consider installing the new mod “The Nether Caster” for Minecraft Pocket Edition, which will introduce you to new dangerous mobs that have emerged from the Nether! Along with these mobs, the MCPE world will feature new traits such as fire resistance and enhanced health. Another intriguing addition is that any interaction with pigs will instantly transform them into perilous pig zombies.
How does it work?
Hellhounds (replacing pigs) in Minecraft Pocket Edition have become significantly more dangerous and can no longer be tamed. This new mob is neutral and will not attack unless provoked.
Fire Creepers (replacing regular creepers) will still cause explosions and leave fires in their wake, but their blasts are now much more powerful.
Hell Spiders (replacing regular spiders) are now friendly mobs but have become much more dangerous, boasting increased health and damage.
Fire Archer (replacing skeletons) features red textures and will now use real fire projectiles instead of regular arrows. The Fire Archer has also received increased health.
Fire TNT (replacing TNT) creates a larger explosion than standard TNT in MCPE, and the time from ignition to detonation has also been extended!
Additionally, players will now possess fire resistance, meaning no fiery force can harm you. Your health has been boosted to 20 hearts, and your damage output has also been pleasantly increased. This enhanced health will only apply to new worlds in MCPE.
Dragon of the Nether (replacing the Ender Dragon) is nearly identical to the Ender Dragon, except for its increased health.
Remember those harmless pigs you used to keep in pens? Now, with just a light hit, you can turn them into real pig zombies! This way, you can set up a guard near your home. Gather a few pig zombies around your house, and wandering zombies in Minecraft PE will always try to attack them.
Pigs have become more valuable than you might think. Find some pigs in the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition and then take them down! Remember, pig zombies drop gold nuggets, which you may need for crafting gold ingots, golden carrots, or other items.
How to Install The Nether Caster (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-ons. - Select the imported resource/add-on packs in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
How to Install The Nether Caster (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the two folders from the archive.
- Move the “Nether Caster Behavior” folder to /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/
- Move the “Nether Caster Resource” folder to /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world with the resource pack and add-on that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your game!
