Discover the upgraded TFC auto-forging mod, now featuring a tap-to-activate function, an item whitelist, and adjustable speed settings—prevent those pesky mis-forged tools!
Introduction
This is a client-side modification designed to refine the auto-forging experience within TFC by introducing intelligent controls. It’s built upon the original concept by Eternal130. The challenge with vanilla auto-forging is its tendency to forge any recipe that appears, which is excellent for producing bulk ingots but can be exasperating when trying to craft a pickaxe head after it remembers the previous session’s axe head instead.
Key Features
- Tap-to-Activate Mode — This mode serves as a balanced option between OFF and FULL AUTO. It requires you to initiate the first step manually before automation takes over.
- Item Whitelist — You can specify which recipes should adopt certain procedures. Items on the whitelist (for instance, wrought iron blooms) can be set to operate in full auto, while all other items necessitate a manual tap.
- Forging Speed Options — Choose from Extreme, Fast, Moderate, or Safe settings to match your forging preference.
- In-Game Settings Interface (accessible via Ctrl+F) — Inspect your backpack, right-click on items to whitelist them, and adjust policies and speeds seamlessly. All modifications are saved in real-time.
- Forging Tip Indicator — An animated marker highlights the recommended button on the anvil for better guidance.
