If you need to quickly remove water or lava from an area, consider using the special sponges from the mod “Super Sponges“. There are four types available: super water, super lava, filling super water, and filling super lava. Each of these sponges has a crafting recipe, allowing you to utilize them in Minecraft survival mode.
Important: Make sure to place the sponges in a confined area. If you deploy a water sponge directly into the ocean, it will absorb all of it. The same applies to lava. Therefore, be sure to mark off the area you want to clear before using them!
