If you’re a fan of the iconic cartoon featuring SpongeBob or even if you’re just familiar with it, you absolutely need to download the mod “SpongeBob” for Minecraft Pocket Edition. This mod will introduce a plethora of characters from the beloved show into your favorite game, Minecraft PE! You will have the chance to explore the famous city of Bikini Bottom and stroll through its streets, encountering all the familiar characters from the series. In total, 13 new mobs from the world of SpongeBob will be added to MCPE.

This mod for Minecraft Pocket Edition brings a total of 13 new mobs from the world of the beloved SpongeBob cartoon. Almost all of the added mobs will be friendly towards you.
To truly immerse yourself in your favorite cartoon, we highly recommend downloading and installing the Bikini Bottom map for Minecraft Pocket Edition, where you can discover an entire city from the show.
SpongeBob SquarePants (friendly, replaces pigs): 
Squidward Tentacles (friendly, replaces witches): Squidward is an octopus who lives next door to SpongeBob and his friend Patrick.
Sandy Cheeks (friendly, replaces husks): Sandy is a young squirrel who is a scientist, lives in a glass dome, and is a good friend of SpongeBob.
Patrick Star (friendly, replaces creepers): Patrick is SpongeBob’s best friend and lives nearby.
Mr. Krabs (friendly, replaces skeletons): Mr. Krabs is a resident of the city, the owner of the Krusty Krab restaurant, and a rather greedy character.
Larry the Lobster (friendly, replaces iron golems): Larry works as a lifeguard at Goo Lagoon beach.
Mrs. Puff (neutral, replaces strays): Mrs. Puff is a teacher at the boating school, where she instructs SpongeBob.
Gary (neutral, replaces wolves): Gary is a snail and SpongeBob’s pet.
You can tame these mobs in the MCPE world using bones, which have been replaced with fish food!
Plankton (hostile, replaces zombies): Plankton is the owner of the Chum Bucket restaurant. If you defeat him, he will drop bills (replacing bricks).
Bikini Bottom Citizens (replace villagers): just ordinary citizens of this underwater city.
Jellyfish (friendly, replace ghasts): Remember, Bikini Bottom is an underwater city, so the ghasts flying above you have been replaced with jellyfish that appear to swim in the water.
The Flying Dutchman (hostile, replaces the Wither): a green ghost pirate who occasionally appears in the cartoon.
Boat (replaces cows): You can control the boat by holding a carrot on a stick.
- IOS/Android: long press on the boat and click the Ride button that appears
- Windows 10: use the regular right-click
Installing SpongeBob (.mcpack)
- Download the mod marked as “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-ons. - Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client after this.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing SpongeBob (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the two folders from the archive.
- Move the “Spongebob(BP)” folder to /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/
- Move the “Spongebob(RP)” folder to /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world with the resource pack and add-on that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!
