If so, we invite you to download and install the mod “Snowmobile” for Minecraft Pocket Edition, which will introduce a real snowmobile into your favorite game, perfectly suited for harsh weather conditions. This incredibly fast vehicle rivals a speedy motorcycle and allows for quick travel across the MCPE world. It’s an excellent mod for those looking to navigate snowy and icy biomes in MCPE.
How Does It Work?
Once you install this mod, two types of snowmobiles will appear in your Minecraft Pocket Edition world, differing only in color. One will be blue (replacing the regular spider), while the other will be yellow (replacing the cave spider). Both snowmobiles share the same design.
- IOS/Android: long-press on the snowmobile, then tap the Drive button that appears.
- Windows 10: right-click on the snowmobile.
After hopping on the snowmobile, you need to hold a key (which replaces the carrot on a stick) to start moving, and then simply steer with that key.
Your snowmobile will feature a special storage compartment that will collect all items along the way. This storage has 5 slots, which you can access at any time.
- IOS/Android: sneak, long-press on the snowmobile, then tap the Open button that appears.
- Windows 10: sneak and right-click on the snowmobile.
Park your snowmobiles at a campsite, then set up camp and enjoy fishing on the lake. This is surely one of the best adventures you can have with this mod in Minecraft PE.
Installing Snowmobile (.mcpack)
- Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs for the world.
— Addons for the world. - Select the imported resource packs/addons in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
Installing Snowmobile (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the two folders from the archive.
- Move the “Snowmobile Behavior Pack” folder to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ folder.
- Move the “Snowmobile Resource Pack” folder to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ folder.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world with the resource pack and addon that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!
