Have you ever tamed an animal in Minecraft only to find that you can no longer interact with it? If you want to keep your pet, consider using the mod titled Re-Tameable Mobs. This functional pack allows you to re-tame a mob, ensuring you can stay close to your companion and continue your adventures together.
This mod was developed to address a rather uncommon issue in Minecraft, where a tamed animal forgets its owner and stops following them. Currently, it works only with tamed wolves, cats, and parrots. Using the re-taming feature is incredibly straightforward. Stand next to the previously tamed mob that has lost its attachment to you, and enter the command / function re_tame. After entering the command, you will be able to re-tame the mob. This function does not re-tame the animal but merely resets its taming status, so remember to approach it and tame it again. After the reset, the mob’s name and color will remain unchanged.
