The Add-on RC Car transforms two mobs in Minecraft PE into remote-controlled cars. You can steer the vehicles using a throwing mechanism, making it a truly entertaining and creative addition that hasn’t been seen before in MCPE. The mod is intricately designed and features custom sounds, particles, and other engaging elements. You’ll love it!
How Does It Work?
Remote-controlled cars are available for purchase from villagers in villages. There are two distinct RC cars, each responding to its own controller. (This means multiplayer mode is available in MCPE).
Before you can use the RC car, you need to charge it. This requires a battery (which replaces gold ingots).
- IOS / Android: Hold the battery in your hand, long-press on the car, and tap the button that appears.
- Windows 10: Hold the battery and right-click on the RC car to charge it.
During the charging process, you’ll see some particles and hear sounds. It only takes a few seconds to fully charge.
Now you can control the car using the corresponding controller.
- Blue controller (egg) – blue RC car
- Red controller (snowball) – red RC car
Throw the controller just like you would throw eggs or snowballs to maneuver the car. The vehicle has a limited range, so throw it nearby.
You can destroy the car by killing it, but it won’t go down without a fight. However, it only takes a couple of hits to destroy it, so the car isn’t much of a threat.
