Raptor Tamer Mod — this modification introduces predatory creatures (lizards) into the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition, commonly referred to as Raptors! A Raptor is a small dinosaur that can be tamed using raw meat. Once you tame a Raptor and it becomes friendly, you can utilize it as a bodyguard. It will attack hostile mobs, thereby protecting you.
This way, you can locate and tame several Raptors, creating a small army of bodyguards to defend you against hostile monsters.
Taming
Raptors can spawn naturally in the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition, but the chances of encountering one in MCPE are quite low. You can use an egg to spawn a Raptor with id – 2197, saving you time searching for them in the MCPE world.
To tame a Raptor, you will need raw beef and bones. Before approaching the Raptor, make sure you are wearing armor, as Raptors are predatory animals. You should hit the Raptor on its legs with the raw beef.
Once you successfully tame the Raptor, you will receive a notification in the chat indicating that the Raptor is now friendly. The Raptor will also have a name displayed above it. However, there is still one more step to complete.
The final step is to tame it using bones. Approach the Raptor and tap on it with the bones — a button labeled “Tame” should appear. Click the “Tame” button to tame the Raptor, which may require several attempts.
You can either stand or sit on the Raptor — simply swipe over the Raptor. You will then see the “Sit” / “Stand” button.
Combat
Tame as many Raptors as possible and create an unbeatable army of lizards! Raptors will protect you from hostile mobs. Now, walking under the moonlight will no longer be frightening as it once was.
Riding
This feature is not yet fully implemented. It was not mentioned in the official release, but during script testing, we discovered this capability.
After taming the dinosaur (lizard) — place a Lizard Saddle (id – 2468) on its back.
To ride it — tap on it again with an empty hand. To dismount from the dinosaur — press the crouch button, and you will get off.
