Manage the random tick functions of any block with ease.
Random Tick Control
Random Tick Control provides players with the ability to customize the behavior of blocks and fluids when they receive a random tick attempt. By default, this mod replicates the standard gameplay experience. You can access the configuration menu within the game to tailor the random tick responses to your liking. If you’ve made changes to your settings that don’t seem to take effect, simply type /reload!
When a block is configured to never receive random ticks, it will completely disregard any random tick events. This feature allows players to stop various block behaviors, such as melting, growing, or spreading, from occurring randomly.
On the other hand, if a block is set to always receive random ticks, it will continue to get random tick attempts, even in situations where its usual state would prevent this. For instance, many crops stop receiving random ticks once they reach maturity, but this can conflict with other mods or scripts dependent on those events. Furthermore, blocks that typically do not have any random tick functionality can be adjusted to begin receiving random ticks as well.
Utilizing this mod should result in virtually no performance issues. In fact, if you choose to turn off blocks that typically cause lag due to their random tick mechanics, you might actually notice an improvement in your performance.
Keep in mind that depending on your specific settings, certain modded blocks that depend on the default eligibility checks for random ticks might encounter errors or crashes. If this happens, remove the affected block from the configuration and be sure to report the issue to the mod developer.
