How Does It Work?
Rainbows are quite rare in the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition, but they can naturally appear in almost any terrain, including caves. This occurs because the rainbow replaces the creepers.
Rainbows have been a part of mythology and legends for thousands of years. This addon is inspired by one of the most popular tales about rainbows, which states that at the other end of the rainbow, treasures await those who are lucky enough to find them.
To obtain these treasures, you need to locate and defeat the rainbow. Yes, you can defeat the rainbow because it has replaced the creeper.
Each rainbow you defeat will yield two gold ingots.
Installing Rainbows (.mcpack)
- Download the mod labeled as “.mcpack” below.
- Open the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Addons. - Select the imported resource packs/addon in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
Installing Rainbows (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder “rainbow_behaviors_1.3.1” to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ folder.
- Move the folder “rainbow_resources_1.2” to the /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/ folder.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the selected world with the resource pack and addon that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!
