Prehistoric creatures are invading the world of Minecraft! The mod titled Prehistory: Mosasaurus and Megalodon introduces two iconic movie monsters — the mosasaurus and the megalodon. Each of these creatures features distinct textures, models, and animations. The new mobs are hostile and cannot be tamed. They inhabit the oceans, but if you prefer not to spend time searching, you can simply use commands.
Megalodon. An ancient species of shark often compared to today’s great white sharks. In Minecraft, it can be found in all ocean biomes except for the frozen and warm ones. The maximum size of a megalodon reaches 18 blocks in length and 2 blocks in height (not including fins and tail). It attacks both marine creatures and players, dropping a tooth as a trophy upon death. Its health is 50 hearts.
There are two types of megalodon: one with dark skin and another with lighter skin (both have identical characteristics). Mosasaurus. An extinct creature often likened to modern crocodiles. Mosasaurs spawn in all ocean biomes except for the frozen and warm ones. Their maximum length is also 18 blocks, with a height of 2 blocks (excluding fins). They attack players and marine life, leaving behind scales upon death. Their health is 50 hearts. Both megalodon and mosasaurus have individuals of varying sizes, including young ones.
