Upon installing the Zombies vs. Plants (Plants VS Zombies Bedrock) mod in Minecraft Pocket Edition, players will encounter a variety of engaging mechanics that integrate seamlessly with the classic survival mode.
Features of the Plants VS Zombies Bedrock Mod
In addition to the classic items from the game of the same name, this modification will introduce several new types of zombies and plants in Minecraft, which may help save your character. Now, let’s take a closer look at Plants vs Zombies (Plants VS Zombies Bedrock). A new merchant named Dave will appear in Minecraft Bedrock. You can purchase many items from this mod from him.
All items are crafted using a special workbench known as the garden table.
You cannot simply place plants on the ground; you need to create a pot for that purpose. In this pot, you can plant regular flora.
To accommodate more advanced plants, you’ll need to craft a golden pot.
If you’re looking to acquire additional plant seeds, make a redstone shovel in Minecraft BE. By digging up plants, you can replant them and also collect seeds.
Plant seeds can be purchased from Dave.
Place them in pots so they can grow and help defend your area.
Zombies and Plants
Undead creatures will attempt to invade your home. In the mod Plants VS Zombies Bedrock, there are several types of zombies:
- 3 types of zombies – standard, one wearing a bucket on its head, and another with a traffic cone;
- 3 types of mummies – similarly, featuring a bucket, a cone, and a regular variant.
Standard and double pea shooter:
- Shoots peas;
- Ammunition can be purchased from a vendor.
Standard and Double Sunflower:
- Provides illumination;
- Can be cultivated from a sun fruit;
- The sun fruit is only available from the traveling merchant.
Nut Wall:
- Acts as a barrier;
- A nut is required for growth.
Potato Mine:
- Naturally detonates;
- To grow it, plant a potato.
Cabbage Catapult:
- Launches cabbages;
- Available from the merchant.
Boomerang Plant:
- Throws boomerangs;
- Can be grown in a pot.
Ice Lettuce:

Update 2.0
The modification update introduces over 50 new plants that you can place for defense. They are available for purchase from the same merchant.
Your foes have also received an upgrade – a new boss has been added, along with more than 20 types of zombies that will attempt to breach your defenses.
Additionally, zombie vision has been enhanced, and bugs have been fixed. The projectile trajectory for plants has been corrected. The menu and trading process have seen improvements as well.
Most importantly, the archive now includes two files for the modification. One is a lightweight version that contains only the essential content. The second version, as you might expect, includes all the features of the mod. Enjoy your gameplay! And don’t forget about the experimental settings.
