Plants Trees Ore Mod — this modification enables players to cultivate unique tree types in the Minecraft Pocket Edition world, which yield various well-known ores such as diamond, iron, gold, and more. Consequently, these trees will feature a texture that corresponds to the respective ore. Ore trees are nearly identical to regular trees, differing mainly in their texture, and you can grow them using the standard method, which we will explain further!
How to Grow Ore Trees?
Before you can grow an ore tree, you must first treat the saplings with specific types of ores, depending on which tree type you are interested in.
For instance, to grow a redstone tree, you need to treat regular saplings with red dust.
Next, plant the treated saplings by clicking on the ground. After that, wait for your tree to grow. To expedite the growth process, we recommend using bone meal — it will allow the tree to grow instantly. Just click the bone meal on the planted tree, and it will quickly become large.
We performed this action with the other types of planted trees as well. Afterward, they all grew and lined up just as we planted them.
A unique feature of ore trees is that you cannot chop them down as their trunks contain ores. Therefore, to harvest the ore trunks, you will need to use a pickaxe.
After that, to obtain regular ores from the ore trunks, smelt the ore trunk in a furnace.
