If you are a fan of Pokémon, then the mod “Pikachu and Raichu” is perfect for you, as it introduces Pikachu and Raichu into the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition. Capture (or rather, tame) Pikachu and keep it as your loyal companion. You can even evolve it into Raichu by giving it an emerald. Let it battle for you and unleash powerful lightning strikes on your foes in Minecraft PE.
Taming Pikachu
Pikachu replaces the pig and can naturally spawn in the regular world of Minecraft PE. You can tame it using carrots, beetroots, or potatoes. (Taming chance: 33%)
If you find a baby Pikachu, you will need to feed it until it grows up to have the chance to tame it.
Tamed Pikachu (or multiple) will follow you in MCPE and will protect you when needed.
Evolution
Once you have tamed Pikachu, you can help it evolve into Raichu by giving it a Thunder Stone (emerald).
Combat
Pikachu and Raichu are naturally hostile towards enemy mobs, but they can also assist you in defeating friendly mobs if you attack them.
Attacks:
- Pikachu
- Thunder Shock: Requires the enemy to be within 4 blocks of Pikachu.
- Quick Attack (Tail Whip): A melee attack that activates when a mob is in close proximity. Damage dealt: 8 points
- Raichu
- Thunderbolt: A sequence of three consecutive thunder strikes
Raichu is more powerful, which becomes evident during battles in Minecraft Pocket Edition. Its primary attack is a lightning strike.
The Pokémon are friendly towards their own kind. They will only attack each other if accidentally struck.
