I believe that players who are keeping an eye on upcoming updates are aware that the next update for Minecraft PE 1.1 will introduce parrots. However, there are eager players who want to add parrots to the game right now, which is why the mod “Parrot” for Minecraft Pocket Edition has been created to bring these birds into your favorite game. The textures have been designed to closely resemble what you will see in the future MCPE 1.1. However, their behavior will differ slightly, as the parrots will replace bats.
How does it work?
Now, parrots will take the place of bats in the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition, and you can choose from one of four color variations. Below, you can see a screenshot showcasing the four color options:
You have a fantastic opportunity to tame your own parrot by feeding it any type of seeds. Once tamed, the parrot will follow you around, but it won’t be able to protect you from hostile mobs in MCPE.
You can use a leash on your parrot and tie it to a fence to prevent it from wandering off.
