Do you want to let your pet cat hunt in the world of Minecraft PE? We are excited to offer you the chance to download and install the mod “Mouse” for Minecraft Pocket Edition, which will introduce real mice into your favorite game. These new mobs will replace silverfish in the MCPE world, and they will attack players whenever possible! If you wish to protect yourself from these mice, consider getting your own domestic cat, as it will now hunt mice throughout the MCPE realm after some adjustments.
How does it work?
Now, in the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition, domestic cats will actively hunt and kill mice. To adopt a cat, simply feed it raw fish. If you’re trying to tame an ocelot, remain still and avoid scaring it; this will make the process easier.

Installing Mouse (.mcaddon)
- Download the mod labeled “.mcpack” below.
- Open the downloaded file to import the add-on/resource pack into MCPE.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs.
— Add-ons. - Select the imported resource/add-on packs in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Start Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Mouse (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract two folders from the archive.
- Move the folder “mouseaddon behaviour” to the directory /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/
- Transfer the folder “mouseaddon resource” to the directory /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Apply the resource pack and add-on that you moved earlier to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
- All set! Restart Minecraft PE and have fun playing!
