The Immortality Totem is a remarkable feature of the Minecraft Pocket Edition universe, yet it seems that this concept has not fully realized its potential. The mod “More Totems” introduces 9 new functional totems along with 7 additional ones intended for trading purposes. Additionally, you will encounter a new villager named Taron in the world of Minecraft PE, who can be found in any village and offers everything related to totems.
How to Acquire New Totems?
There are two ways to obtain totems:
1.) Defeat a Evoker, which has a chance to drop one of ten totems (including the Immortality Totem).
2.) Locate Taron, the totem expert. However, he will require resources to craft new totems. He is dressed like a cleric.
You can also use the following command to acquire new items: /give @p yellow_flower 1 [number from 0 to 15]
New Resources
With the new totems available in MCPE, Taron can create a combined totem. Give him two combined totems and several flower totems, and he will produce a mixed totem, which serves as a basic ingredient for all other totems in MCPE.
- Regular Green Totem – drops from zombies
- Regular Red Totem – drops from magma cubes
- Regular Purple Totem – drops from endermen
- Regular Blue Totem – drops from squids and elder guardians
- Flower Totem – can be used to craft yellow dye, replaces dandelions, and appears naturally in your world.
New Totems
Each of the new totems will activate when held in your main hand. Due to technical limitations in Minecraft PE, they cannot be held in any other way. [Mixed Totem]
- Fire Totem – crafted using Mixed Totem and magma blocks | Grants fire damage resistance
- Air Totem – crafted using Mixed Totem and prismarine shards | Provides immunity to drowning damage
