The Mob Commanders Mod introduces a new level of challenge to Minecraft Pocket Edition as you engage with mobs in the world of MCPE. For nearly every type of mob, commanders have been added to the game, each one defending the interests of their respective “battalion.” These commanders are generally much stronger than regular mobs and may look similar, but they wield significantly more power over you compared to standard mobs. Commanders will spawn after you attack their representative mob.

How to Spawn Mob Commanders?

There are seven types of commanding mobs in total: four hostile and three friendly. All hostile commanders will target animals.

To summon a mob commander, you need to defeat 20 mobs of its kind. For instance, if you want to summon the Spider Queen, you’ll need to eliminate 20 spiders first.

The same process applies for summoning friendly mobs, except that you must kill five different types of these mobs to call forth the commander.

What Types of Commanders Are There?

Spider Queen (hostile) is significantly faster than regular spiders. When attacked, the Spider Queen can knock you back.

Lord Creeper (hostile) charges at you and explodes, but his blast is far more powerful than that of a regular Creeper.

Skeleton King (hostile) shoots fire arrows and spawns 10 skeleton minions upon death.

Zombie General (hostile) is incredibly fast and knocks back targets while poisoning them during attacks.

Iron Golem Master is a friendly entity. However, if you decide to attack him, he will chase you down relentlessly until your demise. He is an exceptionally strong and fast character, so be cautious around him.

Snow Golem Commander is also a friendly creature. In fact, he’s overly friendly and won’t defend himself when attacked. The only difference is that he is primarily made of snow and moves slightly faster.
