Minimap PE Mod — this mod introduces a mini-map to the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition, showcasing the terrain surrounding you. The functionality of the map is currently quite basic, as it is the first beta version of this modification.
As for the features of the mini-map, they are still in their infancy. The mini-map effectively displays a small radius of the area around you and includes an option to show ore blocks.
How does it work?
Once you enter the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition, a mini-map will appear in the lower left corner of your screen. At this moment, there is no way to interact with the mini-map: adjusting scale, position, or other settings is not possible. We hope that future versions of the map will offer more than just a simple mini-map.
The mini-map detects various blocks; however, it has its limitations — it does not identify mobs, villages, snow, or other details.
The mini-map performs well underground, displaying visible ore blocks.
Plants are another detail that the mini-map currently fails to detect. Instead of plants, processed dirt blocks are shown on the map. However, considering this is the initial beta release of the mod, such limitations are understandable.
Installing the Minimap PE Mod:
- Download the mod.
- Launch BlockLauncher Pro.
- Click on the wrench icon.
- Go to “ModPE Script”.
- Enable mod support and click “Add”.
- Now locate the downloaded mod in your device’s file system and select it.
- The mod is installed, enjoy your game!
Installing Minimap PE Textures:
- Download the texture pack.
- Extract the files from the archive.
- Move the Minimap-Images folder to /sdcard/games/com.mojang/
