This mod rectifies the issue of player health resetting to the default maximum upon joining a world or respawning, which occurs when a player possesses a higher health statistic.
Max Health Fix Overview
For quite some time, vanilla Minecraft has faced a frustrating problem: whenever players enter a world, whether in singleplayer mode or on dedicated servers, their health can revert to the standard maximum (20 hearts), even if they have a higher maximum health stat. This situation occurs not only upon joining but also when players respawn. Therefore, despite having a potential maximum health that exceeds 20 hearts, players find their health clamped back to 20. This issue has been recognized by the Minecraft development team since 2013 but has yet to see a permanent resolution (refer to the issue MC-17876).
Various mods have attempted to address this specific concern, but many are not compatible with the latest game versions that users prefer. Recognizing this gap, I decided to create a new mod to provide the long-awaited solution.
This mod is designed exclusively to fix the health reset issue for Minecraft versions 1.21 and beyond.
