Iguanas are omnivorous lizards characterized by their long green tails. They show little to no interest in players of Minecraft Pocket Edition. Most of the time, they will simply run away from you. However, iguanas are predators, so it’s wise to keep an eye on your small pets. You can attempt to tame an iguana, but this is nearly impossible as they tend to flee constantly. Interested? Then add iguanas by downloading the mod “Iguanas” for Minecraft PE.
How does it work?
Iguanas can be found in most locations within MCPE, as they serve as a replacement for creepers. Naturally, they fear players and will always try to escape, even if tamed. They only pose a threat if you attack them first.
Being omnivores, they hunt rabbits and other small creatures.
Taming an iguana in Minecraft PE is not possible unless you catch it first. To tame an iguana, you need to confine it in a small area. Use melon to tame it.
- iOS / Android: While holding a melon, long press on the iguana, then select Tame
- Windows 10: To tame the iguana, right-click on it while holding a melon
A tamed iguana will follow you throughout the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition. To heal it, feed it watermelon, potatoes, carrots, or apples.
If a hostile mob attacks you, the iguana will defend you at all costs.
