HardcorePE Mod introduces a new gameplay mode to Minecraft Pocket Edition, similar to the PC version of Minecraft – Hardcore. In hardcore mode, any mistake leading to death results in the complete loss of your world progress. The mod features two levels of hardcore difficulty: the first is standard hardcore, where dying deletes your world, and the second is ultra hardcore, which prevents health regeneration—making it significantly more perilous than any other game mode in Minecraft PE.
How Does It Work?
To begin, create a new world in Minecraft Pocket Edition and enter it. Once inside, you will see a graphical user interface that allows you to select your game mode.
- Creative – grants unlimited health, resources, and the ability to fly.
- Survival – the standard game mode with resource limitations.
- Hardcore – no health regeneration.
- Ultra Hardcore – no health regeneration or life restoration.
In this instance, we opted for “Hardcore“.
For demonstration purposes, we crafted some basic tools typically used at the start of our journey towards advancement. After gathering enough resources that we didn’t want to lose, we decided to send Steve on a daring mission—to drown.
We submerged into the water and waited until our air supply was exhausted.
As a result, Steve perished. A message appeared on our screen offering us the choice to respawn or return to the game menu. It’s important to note that the message stated, “The world will be deleted!”
If you click “Respawn,” you’ll appear at the spawn point, but continuing the game won’t be possible. Your only option is to exit to the main MCPE menu. Following this action, the world will be automatically deleted.
