Overview
Guilded is a Fabric mod designed to fill the gap left by the absence of faction mods. It allows the creation of factions from the perspectives of modpacks, developers, and players, while also offering an API for developers to integrate in-game interactions seamlessly.
Getting Started
To begin utilizing the mod, simply load into a world and press the G key (this keybind can be adjusted according to user preference). This action will take you to the primary interface of Guilded.
In this interface, you can view and join existing guilds or create your own! To start your own guild, click on “Your Guild” which will lead you to the Create Guild Menu. Here, you can enter the name of your guild (note that it cannot contain commas) and the title for the leader rank (the rank you will hold).
After creating your guild, simply revisit the Your Guild menu to access your guild’s settings!
In this menu, you will see your guild’s name, rank, and description (which can be edited in Management). While exploring the menu, keep these important details in mind:
- The leader and “Recruit” ranks are required due to hard-coded logic (this may be subject to change in future updates).
- The actions permitted for each rank within a guild are determined by the guild’s settings and the rank’s “Priority.” Lower priority numbers correspond to greater permissions, while higher numbers mean fewer permissions. You can modify the maximum number of actions allowed through the Settings.
