We are excited to introduce the mod “Golden Chicken” for Minecraft Pocket Edition, which will bring some exciting changes to your favorite game. Now, instead of laying eggs, the familiar chicken will produce golden nuggets! If you’re not a fan of long mining trips and prefer staying on the surface, this mod for MCPE is definitely tailored for you! It provides an endless source of gold since chickens can live indefinitely in the world of MCPE and won’t die as long as they are protected!
How does it work?
Now, the chickens that drop gold will look just like regular chickens, except for the special reward they offer their owner!
Golden chicks will spawn very rarely in the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition. If you’re lucky enough to find one, be sure to use a lead and bring it home to continue harvesting large amounts of gold!
After some time, the chicken will lay gold for you, leaving golden nuggets scattered around.
You can collect a number of golden nuggets and then craft them into gold ingots.
Installing Golden Chicken (.mcpack)
- Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Add-on Packs for the world. - Select the imported resource packs/addons in each section.
- It’s recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!
Installing Golden Chicken (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the folder “GoldenEggChicken_v1.0.0_by_CaboRambo” from the archive.
- Move the folder “GoldenEggChicken_v1.0.0_by_CaboRambo” to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Apply the addon you moved earlier to the behavior_packs folder to the selected world.
- Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy playing!
