No more need to sit in Minecraft with a fishing rod and wait for a bite. The “Fish Traps” mod creates three types of cages that you simply place on the bottom of a body of water, and fish swim into them on their own.
To start, you need to make bait from one raw cod and nine iron nuggets.
Wooden trap: 4 threads, 4 random planks and 1 fishing rod.
Iron trap: 4 threads, 4 iron blocks and 1 fishing rod.
Diamond trap: 4 threads, 4 diamonds and 1 fishing rod.
Traps are divided by the frequency of catching fish. To catch in a wooden one, you will have to wait the longest, in an iron one – slightly less, and in a diamond one, fish is caught very quickly. The bait has a tendency to run out, so it needs to be checked periodically and replaced.
How to use?
Dive to the bottom of any body of water in Minecraft and place the trap. To place the bait, take it in your hand and click on the trap.
How to break?
To break the trap, squat down and hit it. If there were any items in the trap, they will fall out, and you can collect them.
