An innovative set of enhancements designed for improving elytra flight functionality. ElytraTweaks is a lightweight modification that enhances the flexibility of flying with elytra. Currently, it offers the following features:
- Automatic elytra activation when gliding begins.
- The mod prioritizes enchanted elytras (specific enchantments aren’t considered), and among multiple elytras, it selects the one with the least durability remaining. The rationale behind this choice may be puzzling, but it’s part of the design!
- Automatic re-equipping of armor upon landing.
- The armor with the highest defense rating is selected first, and if there are several pieces with identical defense, any enchanted armor will take precedence (again, specific enchantments aren’t factored in).
- A designated hotkey for ending flight instantly (default key is
V). - Seamless transition into swimming upon entering water while flying, allowing for immediate movement without needing to stop gliding first.
It’s important to note that if you engage in multiplayer on certain servers, the use of this mod may be classified as cheating. Always confirm with the server rules regarding mod usage to prevent any potential bans, for which I cannot be held accountable!
