A few days ago, wings were introduced in a new screenshot of the PC version of Minecraft 1.9. Shortly after, the developers of the Pocket Edition version announced that wings would also be included in the mobile version of the game. You can equip the wings in the armor slot, and they will be worn by your character. These wings can be used for gliding.
The creator of this mod decided not to wait for the official release of the new game version and released a mod that adds these wings from the PC version of Minecraft 1.9. While they may not be as refined as their PC counterparts, they can provide you with a taste of what it would feel like if these wings were officially available in the PE version of Minecraft.
How to Obtain the Wings and Their Capabilities?
The easiest way to get the wings is by using the creative mode inventory. In the creative inventory, you will find the wings!
Another method to acquire the wings is by using the Toolbox mod. This mod allows the wings to be used in both survival and creative modes, ensuring that you won’t miss out on any features of this modification.
- Wings (id – 480) – you can also enchant the wings.
They are primarily used for gliding. To clarify, you can only use these wings for gliding from heights. The wings activate when you start to fall (after a drop of two blocks).
