EasyChatCompletion

The mod titled EasyChatCompletion (Simple Chat) is primarily designed for users of devices running on Android (and on iOS following the official release of version 1.2 across all platforms). It introduces three new buttons to the chat screen in Minecraft Pocket Edition, which can be utilized for auto-completing text commands and repeating text messages. This feature is already available for Windows 10 users, and it is hoped that developers will also implement it as an official feature for mobile players in Minecraft PE.

How does Simple Chat work?

It is important to note that this mod is beneficial only for mobile devices and tablets running Windows 10. It adds three new buttons in Minecraft PE, which can be used to repeat previously sent messages and for command auto-completion.

• Previous/Next buttons – to use earlier messages in the chat
• Tab Completion – for command auto-completion

Installing EasyChatCompletion (.mcpack)

• Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
• Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
• Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and navigate to world settings.
• Set the imported:
  — Add-on Packs for the world.
• Select the imported resource packs/add-ons in each section.
• It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!

Installing EasyChatCompletion (.zip)

• Download the mod below.
• Extract the folder “easychatcompletion” from the archive.
• Move the folder easychatcompletion to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ directory.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
• Create a new world or edit an existing one.
• Set the selected world to use the add-on you previously moved to the behavior_packs folder.
• All set! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your game!
