Tired of raising wolves? Looking for a new pet with a more engaging growth process? One that offers greater strength and poses a real threat to your enemies? Introducing the mod “Dragons” for Minecraft Pocket Edition. Once installed, you’ll have the chance to tame a real dragon! Start with a baby dragon, feed it, and watch as it grows stronger and more formidable against your foes in the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition! This pet will tear apart any enemy that crosses its path! Even though you can’t ride it, it will still become the most dangerous mob in Minecraft PE!
Wild Dragons
Dragons will replace the inconspicuous mobs in MCPE, specifically bats. Consequently, you can find a dragon that spawns in caves! While most of the time the dragon will spawn neutral (not attacking you first), there is a 17% chance it will spawn hostile and attack you immediately upon sight!
Wild dragons spawn in the following stages:
- Stage 1: 10 hearts, neutral, tamable.
- Stage 2: 15 hearts, neutral, tamable.
- Stage 3: 20 hearts, neutral, tamable.
- Stage 4: 25 hearts, neutral, tamable.
- Stage 5: 30 hearts, hostile, not tamable.
Taming
In the screenshot below, you can see me taming a baby dragon in the world of Minecraft PE. What should you use for taming? Any cooked meat will do; feed the dragon, and if hearts appear above it, you’ve successfully tamed it!
Once tamed, the dragon will grow through 6 stages. You can speed up its growth by feeding it cooked meat. (In the final growth stage, gunpowder can be used to accelerate growth)
- Stage 1: 15 hearts, neutral
- Stage 2: 25 hearts, neutral
- Stage 3: 40 hearts, neutral
- Stage 4: 65 hearts, assists owner with fire attacks
- Stage 5: 90 hearts, assists owner with fire attacks (Growth takes 24 minutes, accelerated with cooked meat)
- Stage 6: 125 hearts, assists owner with explosive projectiles (Growth takes 20 minutes, accelerated with gunpowder)
Once the dragon reaches stage 4, it will loyally protect its owner from enemies in the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition:
Adult dragons in MCPE have a particular craving for sheep! If you walk near a dragon and spot a sheep, be assured that in the next moment, the dragon will be preparing its dinner.
After a long adventure in the world of MCPE, you can tie your dragon to a fence and feed it cooked meat to restore its health and prepare for the next expedition.
