Not many players are able to create a new spawn point in Minecraft Bedrock Edition using console commands. However, this isn’t necessary when there are mods like Checkpoint Blocks that introduce several blocks for this purpose.
How to Use the Checkpoint Blocks Mod
The Checkpoint Blocks mod offers a variety of new blocks for Minecraft on Android. This includes a pressure plate and an interactive respawn point.
The pressure plate is triggered when stepped on. If the character dies, you will respawn directly on the block. To add the block, simply enter the console command in MCBE – /give @p dbrt:checkpoint_block_by_foot.
Using the interactive checkpoint is equally straightforward. To obtain it, simply enter the command /give @p dbrt:checkpoint_block_by_hand. However, to activate it in MCPE, you will need to interact with it.
Blocks cannot be destroyed in survival mode – they can only be broken in creative mode. To ensure the mod functions correctly, make sure to enable experimental features in the game!
