In total, the creators of the Cave Enhancements mod have packed over three hundred different blocks and items into Minecraft Bedrock Edition. With this extensive addon, you could practically spend all your time in caves, as even after a solid hundred hours of gameplay, you’ll still discover something new.
Features of the Cave Enhancements Mod
The first thing that will catch your eye upon installing the Cave Enhancements mod is the revamped caves themselves. There are now six distinct types:
- crystal;
- mossy;
- End dungeons;
- tropical;
- icy;
- desert.
If the mod was initially designed as a concept for the 1.17 update, the creator has long since moved beyond that update.
Crystal caves, as the name suggests, will be generated with an abundance of crystals.
In the mossy caves, you might encounter enormous mushrooms and tiny formations.
The Caves of the Edge are a classic feature of this realm in Minecraft, where you may encounter various types of ore veins.
The tropical variant is among the brightest underground locations, filled with a plethora of vines.
Surprisingly, ice caves will be formed with blocks of ice and snow, creating a chilling atmosphere within them.
In desert dungeons, in addition to regular stone and cobblestone, there is a significant amount of sand, gravel, and sandstone.
New Ore
The scale of this mod is limitless in Minecraft PE. While exploring the standard world, you will encounter thirty different types of new ore. An additional ten can be found in the End, and for the last ten, you will need to venture into the Nether.
