Do you often encounter Minecraft Pocket Edition bats in your world? Or do you see them at all? We suggest trying out the “Butterflies” mod for MCPE, which replaces bats with beautiful blue butterflies. I highly recommend spawning them in your world, as they add a lovely touch! This fantastic addition allows you to beautify your Minecraft PE experience by removing bats from the environment.
Have you ever caught butterflies? No? Now you can do that in your favorite game MCPE!
Where to Find Butterflies?
Currently, there are two ways to find butterflies in Minecraft Pocket Edition. Remember that bats have been replaced by butterflies? Now, butterflies will spawn in the same locations where bats used to, specifically in caves. This can be a bit inconvenient, so I recommend using the second method – spawn eggs in creative mode of Minecraft PE.
They can be quite hard to spot. Remember the size of bats? Well, butterflies are even smaller, so you might not always notice them in the vast world of Minecraft Pocket Edition.
If you enlarge the image, you can see that the butterflies have two “antennae” on their heads and delicate paper-like wings:
But don’t be disheartened, as the mod developers for MCPE have included a delightful surprise! You can actually ride this tiny butterfly! (Android/iOS: long press on the butterfly + tap the Ride button; Windows 10: click on the butterfly) Unfortunately, you won’t be able to control the butterfly.
