Blokkit Mod — this mod introduces 7 living blocks into the world of Minecraft Pocket Edition, which can eventually be tamed and serve as friendly companions. Once you tame a “Living Block,” it will always follow you unless you command it to sit.
When you’re in danger, your loyal friend — the Blokkit — will come to your aid. As soon as you start attacking hostile monsters or if they attack you, the Living Block will rush at them and begin fighting back to protect you!
How Does It Work?
Below are examples of crafting recipes for summoning living blocks. You can also obtain spawn eggs for these blocks in creative mode inventory or through mods like Toolbox or Simple Commands.
Taming
Hold an egg for spawning — tap it on any block to summon a “Blokkit.”
To tame a living block, feed it apples. It may take several attempts before it loves you. Heart particles indicate successful taming.
Once you’ve tamed the living block, by holding down on it, you can issue commands such as “sit” or “follow me.”
Leveling Up
The living block starts its life from scratch — beginning with level 0. You can check the current stats of the living block by crouching and then tapping it with an empty hand.
The living block will follow you and attack enemies that you engage or those who attack you. During combat, the living block gains experience. When it reaches level 5, you can feed it a golden apple to help it grow stronger!
As it evolves, the “Blokkit” will gain size, strength, and health.
Naming
A Nametag can be used to give names to your living blocks. You can find a nametag in the creative mode inventory or craft one yourself.
Once you have a nametag, go to an anvil and open its interface.
Place the nametag in the first slot of the anvil, then enter a name of your choice. In our example, we used the name: planet-mc.net <3. Creating a named tag requires 1 experience point.
Now that you’ve created a name tag, collect it. Then use the nametag on the living block to assign it that name.
