How Does It Work?
You’ll be surprised to learn that in the waters of Minecraft Pocket Edition, you can actually catch diamond and iron armor! It’s true! All other items have not changed, except for the increased drop rates.
- The chance of catching enchanted books has been boosted by 33%
- You now have the chance to catch iron armor
- There is also a small chance to catch diamond armor
- Enchanting with Luck of the Sea III gives you a 50% chance to find treasure
Installing Better Fishin’ (.mcpack)
- Download the mod marked with “.mcpack” below.
- Run the downloaded file to import the add-on/texture into MCPE.
- Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to the world settings.
- Set the imported:
— Resource Packs for the world.
— Add-on Packs for the world. - Select the imported resource/add-on packs in each section.
- It is recommended to restart the Minecraft PE client afterward.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the add-on!
Installing Better Fishin’ (.zip)
- Download the mod below.
- Extract the folder “Better Fishin Addon v1” from the archive.
- Move the folder “Better Fishin Addon v1” to the /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/ folder.
- Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
- Create a new world or edit an existing one.
- Set the add-on for the selected world that you previously moved to the behavior_packs folder.
- All set! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy your game!
