Ant-Man

Do you enjoy superhero movies and dream of becoming one? The mod “Ant-Man” introduces several new items to Minecraft Pocket Edition, essential for transforming into Ant-Man, a well-known superhero in the Marvel universe. With these new items, you will unlock various abilities that would otherwise be unavailable in the MCPE world. For instance, by holding one of the items, you can shrink down to the size of an ant, gaining access to new features like fire immunity while shrunk.

How does the Ant-Man mod work?

Miniaturization Converter (Bow): The key feature is the miniaturization converter. This item can be held in your hand (or not) and will transform you into the superhero Ant-Man.

• 3 damage per hit
• Increased speed
• Fire immunity

When shrunk, you will gain new abilities in Minecraft PE, some of which are negative, like reduced health, while others are beneficial, such as increased agility.

Transform into Ant-Man simply by equipping the miniaturization converter. There is no cooldown on the ability, allowing you to quickly switch between normal, giant, and miniature sizes within seconds.

Giant Converter (Totem of Undying): As a giant Ant-Man, you will have enhanced capabilities in the MCPE world related to strength. For example, your attack damage will increase, and you will gain knockback resistance.

Pets

There are two different ant pets that will protect you in Minecraft PE if you come under attack. However, neither will follow you as they cannot be tamed. You can ride them, though, and equip various arrows (totems) to shrink or grow while riding.

You can control the pet in Minecraft Pocket Edition by adding a saddle frame to the saddle slot.

Red Ant (replaces spider)

• Normal
  • Health: 7.5 hearts
  • Attack damage: 5
  • Can be ridden
  • Chest inventory
  • Controlled by equipping the ant with a frame (in the saddle slot)
• Giant
  • Health: 15 hearts
  • Attack damage: 20
  • Causes wither effect
  • Fire and fall damage immunity

Black Ant (replaces cave spider)

• Normal
  • Health: 7.5 hearts
  • Attack damage: 5
  • Can be ridden
  • Chest inventory
• Small
  • Health: 2.5 hearts
  • Attack damage: 10
  • Causes wither effect
  • Fire and fall damage immunity

Installing Ant-Man (.mcpack)

• Download the mod labeled “.mcpack” below.
• Run the downloaded file to import the addon/texture into MCPE.
• Open Minecraft Pocket Edition and go to world settings.
• Set the imported for the world:
  — Resource Packs.
  — Addons.
• Select the imported resource/addon packs in each section.
• It is recommended to restart the game client Minecraft PE after this.
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition, enter the previously configured world MCPE, and enjoy the addon!

Installing Ant-Man (.zip)

• Download the mod below.
• Extract the two folders from the archive.
• Move the “Ant-Man (B)” folder to /games/com.mojang/behavior_packs/
• Move the “Ant-Man (R)” folder to /games/com.mojang/resource_packs/
• Launch Minecraft Pocket Edition.
• Create a new world or edit an existing one.
• Set the selected world with the resource pack and addon that you previously moved to the resource_packs and behavior_packs folders.
• Done! Restart Minecraft PE and enjoy the game!
