Aden’s Additions is an exciting mod for Minecraft Pocket Edition (MCPE) that introduces a range of unique materials, including Peridot, Perithyst, Cerisium, and Tattered Plates. These new resources allow players to craft innovative weapons, armor, and artifacts, enhancing the overall gameplay experience. Some of these materials can even be discovered in the newly introduced Canvas Dimension.
This mod marks my second venture into modding Minecraft! It introduces a unique ore known as Peridot, found in the overworld. When combined with a slime or magma cube, Peridot produces a special slimeball. This slimeball can be mixed with amethyst to create Perithyst, a versatile new material.
Perithyst can further be combined with artifacts sourced from shipwrecks and buried treasures to create the Perithyst Amulet. This amulet possesses the remarkable capability to channel the corruptive powers of Perithyst to transport its wearer into the Canvas Dimension. Within this dimension, players will encounter an abundance of new resources for fresh blocksets and an intriguing entity called the Sightseer. Defeating Sightseers yields Tattered Skin, which can be transformed into Tattered Plates—ideal for crafting a new suite of weapons and armor.
By merging Tattered Plates with Perithyst, players can forge the Perithyst Scythe. This powerful weapon features shockwave properties and offers various cosmetic skins that can be altered using a smithing table. Additionally, combining Perithyst with a new ore called Cerisium, which is found exclusively in the Canvas Dimension, allows you to craft the Voyager armor set. This set serves as a compelling alternative to Netherite armor, enhancing your gameplay with its unique features.
Note: To use this mod, Terrablender is required, ensuring that players have the tools necessary to experience all of the exciting features that Aden’s Additions offers.
