Among all the maps for Minecraft, the “H&S Bedrock (Beta) (Hide and Seek)” is likely the only one that features extra items and bonuses. You will find yourself in the Smurf village, where you can engage in a game of hide and seek with other players. As mentioned earlier, this map includes bonuses, one of which is a legendary item that grants you god-like powers.
Getting Started:
A minimum of two players is required to play. If you’re playing solo, simply hit the start button, and you’ll be automatically connected with other players from Minecraft Bedrock.
- The player designated as the seeker will be chosen at random.
- The game will commence in 15 seconds, during which all hiding players will be released.
- Some bonuses may be available, while others might not be.
- Once all the hidden players are released, they have 30 seconds to find a place to hide.
- Hiders can utilize bonuses to reduce their hiding time.
- Seekers can employ their bonuses to easily locate those who are hiding.
Rewards and Game Switch:
For the Hiders:
They receive four items, including bonuses. Here’s what you will get:
- Hint. Firework Launch: fireworks will appear wherever you wish, but only near your location. Additionally, the search time is reduced by 5 seconds.
- Tip: Summoning lightning will cause a strike to appear directly above the hiding player. This increases the chances of being found by the seeker, but it will reduce the search time by 10 seconds.
- Emergency rescue system: The hidden player can summon a platform that remains invisible to them. This feature is useful for escaping from the seeker in critical situations. It can only be used once per game.
- Legendary item: the book of concealment (passive). Not every hider can claim this item. You need to accomplish something, before you can obtain it. This is a passive item, and to discover its effects—get your hands on it!
- Cooldown: all hiders share the same cooldown for bonuses and items. If one of them uses a specific item, they will have to wait before using it again. This mechanism prevents players from abusing bonuses and reduces the time spent searching.
For the Seekers:
They have only two items available, including bonuses:
- Epic: Eye Movement Tracking (EMeyeT). With this bonus, you can spot hidden players within an eight-block radius. Once detected, it will alert all seekers about the nearby players who have been found. While this bonus is indeed epic, its practicality is somewhat limited. Those in hiding can stand on it and hack it, which takes just a few seconds. After successfully hacking, they can do whatever they wish with it. Following each successful hack, EMeyeT requires some time to recharge. A seeker can also modify EMeyeT while standing on it and return it to their inventory without any damage. Only one item can be summoned at a time.
- The Seeker’s Instinct (passive) — whenever the hider utilizes a hint element, the seeker can pinpoint their location, provided they are not too far apart.
Recovery time: similar to hiders, seekers also require some time to recover EMeyeT. From the moment an item is used, it will disclose information about its holder.
Additional Features:
- The pause menu will display details about who is hiding and who is seeking (there may be multiple seekers)!
- A larger map for Minecraft Bedrock enhances gameplay. More hiding spots mean longer searches and a more engaging experience!
- An impressive interface
