Introducing a new dinosaur – the Gallimimus. This creature roamed the Earth millions of years ago, and now with the help of the mod “Gallimimus” for Minecraft Pocket Edition, you have a unique chance to explore it in your favorite game, Minecraft PE. What are the distinctive features of this dinosaur? It has a slender body, a long tail, and small eyes. In the game, it will be a regular passive mob that won’t harm you. Give taming it a try!
Taming
The Gallimimus replaces the zombie pigman in Minecraft Pocket Edition. This means that this dinosaur spawns in the Nether. Therefore, we recommend using zombie pigman spawn eggs from creative mode in Minecraft Pocket Edition to obtain it.
These dinosaurs are passive, so they will often avoid encounters with you. However, there’s a solution: use food items from the MCPE world such as wheat, carrots, potatoes, and beetroot. These foods will attract the Gallimimus, causing it to follow you.
Taming these dinosaurs is similar to taming horses; you’ll need to attempt to ride the dinosaur until it acknowledges you as its owner. You can increase your chances of taming the dinosaur by using the following food items from the MCPE world:
- Wheat (increases taming chance by 2%)
- Carrots (increases taming chance by 3%)
- Potatoes (increases taming chance by 4%)
- Beetroot (increases taming chance by 5%)
Once you’ve successfully tamed the Gallimimus, you can saddle it and control it using an iron sword.
The tamed dinosaur will no longer run away from you, but it also won’t automatically follow you around the Minecraft Pocket Edition world. For this situation, you can use a lead to guide your tamed dinosaur through the MCPE world. If you want to go on an adventure and leave it behind, you can tie your dinosaur to a fence using the same lead.
Breeding
To breed these dinosaurs, you first need two tamed individuals kept close together. Simply feed both of them their preferred food and wait just a few moments.
