A new beta version was released on 03.09.2020, and the numbering remains intact, Minecraft 1.16.100.54 for Android! This update focuses heavily on vanilla parity, gameplay enhancements, technical adjustments, and graphical improvements. However, the most notable aspect is the fixes for game crashes:

• Fixed a crash in Minecraft when a player entered while in a sleeping state.
• Resolved crashes occurring when defeating Protectors and Elder Protectors.
• Additionally, the game no longer crashes when using fireworks.

Vanilla Parity – New Fixes in Minecraft 1.16.100.54

The developers of Minecraft have thoroughly addressed vanilla parity, and we’ve highlighted some of the most interesting changes:

• Floor and ceiling generation now matches exactly with Java Edition.
• Piglins, when transformed into zombies, now either lose or retain their inventory just like in Java.
• Lanterns can now be placed underwater without breaking when a water source block is placed on them.
• Piglins will now offer the same trade items in Minecraft Bedrock Edition as they do in Java.
• Soul fire no longer melts snow or ice.
• Soul campfires will deal double the damage compared to regular campfires in Minecraft 1.16.100.54.
• Wither skeletons will now automatically attack Piglins and Brute Piglins.
• Iron golems will now target hoglins for attacks.
• Void sprouts can once again be used in the composter.
• Netherite armor no longer loses durability when a player stands on magma.
• When mining coal from soul campfires, dirt will drop in MCBE.
• Piglins can now equip shields, elytra, turtle shells, and various mob heads.
