As is customary with the release of a new game version, Minecraft: Pocket Edition developers delight us with fresh features and innovations that they have been working on for some time. With the launch of the latest version, specifically Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.14.0 Build 5, several new elements have been introduced that will surely please many players.

In this version, a new skin pack titled “Journey to the West!” has been added. This skin pack includes a total of 15 skins, which is consistent with the number we’ve seen in recent skin packs from Mojang.

Additionally, in earlier versions (referring to beta builds), the method of using maps was modified. Now, to utilize a map, you no longer need to tap it on the ground, in the air, or on other blocks. When you hold an empty map, a button labeled “Create Map” appears on the screen.

By clicking this button, the empty map transforms into a regular map that displays the terrain, which is fantastic. (The empty map is consumed and converted into a terrain map, thus removing the empty map from your inventory and replacing it with the completed map of the area!)

• Black artifacts in flat worlds have been resolved.
• The client’s position is now properly saved after exiting the game.
• A bug related to incorrect rail placement has been corrected.
• Weird character behavior has been addressed.
• Redstone burnout issues have been fixed.
• Strange artifacts on fences have been removed.
• Items in the frame no longer duplicate after being removed.
• Dynamite no longer disappears for clients.
