Riley is already a teenager, and new emotions are emerging in her mind: Anxiety, Envy, Shame, and Boredom. Joy, Anger, Sadness, and Fear try to maintain control, but Anxiety takes over, believing that only she can protect Riley in the challenging world of school, hockey, and first love. The emotions split into two teams, leading to chaos in headquarters and in Riley's life. The film shows how adolescence changes the inner world and how important it is to embrace all emotions, even the most difficult ones.
Pixar's visuals are top-notch: the emotion headquarters has grown larger, the colors are brighter, and the animation of emotions is even more expressive. The soundtrack is powerful and emotional. The message: all emotions are necessary, even Anxiety — not an enemy, but a part of you.
For whom: for children 8+, teenagers, and adults who remember the first film and want to understand what is happening in a teenager's mind. A rating of 7.7 on Kinopoisk is well-deserved. Watch to laugh, cry, and better understand yourself.
