The second season of the post-apocalyptic series continues the story of a world that survived a nuclear catastrophe more than two centuries ago. Society has finally divided between the inhabitants of technological shelters and those forced to survive on the surface, amidst radiation, mutants, and the harsh rules of the Wasteland. The reality of the new world proves to be far more ruthless than any expectations.

Lucy MacLean, having left the shelter, plunges deeper into the dangerous life outside, where every choice could be the last. Parallel storylines develop around Maximus—a fighter of a military-religious order—and Cooper Howard—a mutant bounty hunter, whose past gradually unfolds. Their fates intertwine, forming a larger picture of what is happening.

The season emphasizes moral dilemmas, the cost of survival, and the clash of ideals with harsh reality. The series retains the recognizable aesthetics of the original Fallout games, combining character drama, dark humor, and the atmosphere of retro-futuristic post-apocalypse.
