Friends, the developers have unexpectedly released a new version of the game — Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.15.9. This update is tied to the Minecon 2016 Festival, which will take place on September 24-25 in California.

As per tradition, whenever a new version of Minecraft Pocket Edition is released, various bugs are fixed, many of which we are often unaware of. The Minecraft PE 0.15.9 update is no exception — the specific bugs addressed in this version remain undisclosed!

All the developers have mentioned regarding the bug fixes in MCPE 0.15.9 is that various bugs have been fixed. However, the updates in Minecraft PE 0.15.9 don’t stop there. As mentioned earlier, this update is connected to the upcoming Minecon 2016 Festival.

What’s the Connection Between Minecraft PE 0.15.9 and Minecon 2016?

In Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.15.9, a new skin pack titled “Minecon” has been introduced. This skin pack features two main highlights: all skins are completely free, and each skin comes with a cloak! Yes, Minecraft PE 0.15.9 now supports cloaks. While full support for cloaks is not yet available in this version, you can already enjoy playing with them. Choose one of the available Minecon skins with cloaks and enhance your gaming experience.

It’s possible that the developers of Minecraft: Pocket Edition will release the next game update soon, officially supporting cloaks. However, it is more likely that cloak support will be fully integrated in the final release of Minecraft PE 0.16.0.
